I finally had a little time this weekend to work on some things! I got a few cards done, and started working on another project! I can't wait to show you that one! : ) But first, here are the cards. I used Creative Memories paper and stickers. The stamps are from Hobby Lobby. Enjoy!

My husband....
had a nice surprise for me the other evening. I came home from work, and as soon as I walked in the house, he made me close my eyes. He guided me over to the couch, and when I opened my eyes, there was a big spider-man gift bag on the couch! I always did like spider-man.... : ) Inside was a sweet card, a flat skillet, and sunflower seeds!
Sorry, no picture of the skillet. I used it this morning....
So, I was thinking of how to arrange the flowers in the yard. Any suggestions? Should I group them all together? Or spread them out? Should they be in the middle of the yard or along the house? I would rather have them in the front yard so people could see them as they drive by; although Ragan said they would probably do better in the back yard because they would get the most sunlight back there. He got so many of them, I can probably put some in the front and in the back. One idea I had was to line the driveway with sunflowers! Wouldn't that be so neat to leave your house in the morning for work, and drive down your driveway through sunflowers! I think so. : )
But don't worry; I'll definitely be taking a lot of pictures of them when they start growing, so you'll see what we decide to do with them!

My new craft desk!
I have a new craft desk! Well, the desk isn't really new. So I guess you could say I have a new craft space! : ) All my craft stuff was in one of our extra bedrooms, but I didn't like being back there all by myself... So I moved most of it into the living room into this desk! So now I can visit with everyone else while working on projects instead of being by myself.
I also have stamps, cuttlebug folders, tools for the cinch, and extra markers and other tools in the drawers. I had to leave the paper in the back room. So I'll just have to bring a little at a time for whatever project I'm working on at the time.
Happy crafting!!

A new couch!
We have a new couch! Ragan new I didn't really care for the green plaid one, so when he came across this one (for free!), he took it! I must say, I like this one much better! : )
Have a good day!

Baby, it's cold outside!
Well, it got a little wet and icy outside yesterday. So I thought I would post a photo of our willow tree in our backyard to give you an idea of the weather here. I also made this into a new desktop calendar for January. You can find it here.
Have a good and warm day!

My Photography
My husband and I spent our new year's eve and new year's day on the Ouachita River this year. While we were there I was able to capture a few photographs I thought I would share with you.
I graduated from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, Louisiana. Photographing the outdoors and animals has always been a passion of mine.
While we were spending time on the river, we had the chance of seeing two bald eagles that have made their home on the Ouachita River for right now.
I like to play around in Photoshop with some of my photographs. Here I tried to create a panoramic photograph. It still needs a little bit of work....
If you would like to see more of my photography, check out my Facebook page or My Website.
I hope the rest of your day is good! Enjoy!

New Year's at the River!
Ragan and I celebrated our new year's at the river. He went hunting and I slept in late. : ) Here are a few pictures I was able to get.
This is Ragan's squirrel dog.
This is the view from the boat house.
And here I tried to do a panoramic photo. It still needs a little work.... It rained on and off the whole time we were there.
Ragan and our friends have seen two bald eagles every once in a while when they go up there hunting, but I haven't ever seen them. But this time, they came around while I was there!
They were so far up in the sky, even with my longest telephoto lens, I couldn't zoom in very close to them.
And here is Ragan and Josh's final count for New Year's Eve day. New Year's day wasn't very successful, and I went home that night. Jan. 2 was a good day for them as well, but I wasn't there to see it. I had to come home to my own bed and a hot shower! : )
