Go therefore

Go therefore

Go: to move toward a person or place with the intention of doing something specific.

Help: to make it easier for somebody to do something, or possible for somebody to do something that one person cannot do alone, by providing assistance of some sort.

Serve: to be useful or helpful for a particular purpose.

How often do we practice these actions? Do we take the time to open the door for someone, help carry someone's groceries to his car, or perhaps help someone with her books down the hallway? Dare I ask: offer someone our clothes, give up a meal so someone else can eat, give a stranger a place to sleep? Should we?

As a Christian photographer, my goal is to share Christ with others through my artwork. I want to share with others who Christ is, and these photographs are just a small part of who He is. Christ is a servant, a helper, and a giver among so many other things. He gave of His own time to help those in need.

This project is all about being who Christ wants us to be. It is about giving of our own time, effort, abilities, talents, money, possessions, and anything else we can give to help those who need it more than we. This project is about serving because we want to, not because we feel like we have to. It does not matter how little you think you are giving because whatever it is yo do to help others, it will be incredibly meaningful to them.
