Hello! It's been quite a while since I've written. So, what have I been up to? Not much... : ) A little working, a little gardening, a little reading, and a little crafting. After attending a painting party back home, I've been in a painting kind of mood. Here's the paintings I've done so far.

Pin Board and Glitter Glasses

I've got a few new crafts for  you! I think these turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself! : )

First I have a ceiling tile pin board. It's like a bulletin board but made out of a ceiling tile. I used my Cricut Expression to make stencils to paint the flowers and words. Then I hot glued some rope around the edges to hang it up.

My next project I did last night. I saw these on Pinterest and decided to do some myself! I used Mod Podge and Martha Steward glitter.

I used blue and red for LA Tech colors. The blue here is the closest color I had to the Bulldog blue color.... : )

And I of course had to do purple and gold for LSU!

A Bit of Painting

This past weekend I got into a painting mood! I had some old paintings I did while in college that I didn't like. So thanks to the wonderful idea from my mom, I decided to paint over them. I've only been working on one right now. What do you think?

I think I'm going to add a shadow to the cross and add some words... not quite sure what though. My inspiration came from a beautiful cross that is hanging up in our house that we got at a wedding shower.

Oh! One other thing! The church I attend is having a Super Couponing event this Saturday. So if you are in the Ruston area around 10 am this Saturday, stop by Calvary Baptist Church and check it out! Made it Myself Mondays: Week 21

This weekend I finished a project I had sitting in our back room for quite a while. 

I painted a ceiling tile to use as a bulletin board to pin notes and cards and things. I used my Cricut Expression to cut out a stencil for the words and flowers. I can't decide if I like the flowers in front of the words, or if I need to go back and paint over the flowers so you can read what it says... hmm... What do you think?
Now all that I have left to do is find something to glue to the back so I can hang it up!
