Hello Again

Wow. It's been a long time since I've written anything... I should definitely get back in to the swing of things!! So what's been going on? Well, we have 3 new puppies, in addition to our 3 older puppies, in addition to our 3 adult dogs. The names: Slug (female), Bunctious (female), and Basco (male). Cute aren't they?!

I'm also very excited to announce that The Husband has bought me a new machine!!

That's right. This crafting business is about to get serious....  : )

I've also been working on a few new crosses...  They're still in progress.

And reading a few free books thanks to Bethany Publishing and Dee Henderson! I love free books. So you'll be seeing a few reviews soon.

What's going on in your neck of the woods?

Our garden is a-growing!

Pretty soon we are going to be canning like crazy! Check out our garden!

And our sunflowers are really beginning to grow too! Our entire driveway is lined with sunflowers! I can't wait until their big so that I will be leaving for work with the view of beautiful sunflowers! I might actually kind of enjoy leaving the house to go to work.... : )

And I have one question  for you: how do you keep dogs from digging in your yard?!
Our 3 dogs have dug holes all over the yard. This is the biggest hole. But the others aren't real tiny either. They are all pretty good size holes. What can we do??

Anyways, hope you have a good week!!

New Year's at the River!

Ragan and I celebrated our new year's at the river. He went hunting and I slept in late. : ) Here are a few pictures I was able to get.
This is Ragan's squirrel dog.

This is the view from the boat house.

And here I tried to do a panoramic photo. It still needs a little work.... It rained on and off the whole time we were there.

Ragan and our friends have seen two bald eagles every once in a while when they go up there hunting, but I haven't ever seen them. But this time, they came around while I was there!

They were so far up in the sky, even with my longest telephoto lens, I couldn't zoom in very close to them.

And here is Ragan and Josh's final count for New Year's Eve day. New Year's day wasn't very successful, and I went home that night. Jan. 2 was a good day for them as well, but I wasn't there to see it. I had to come home to my own bed and a hot shower! : )
