Masculine Birthday Cards

Some friends from Bible study came over this past Saturday for a craft night. Here are the cards I made:

I was trying to make cards a little more on the masculine side. Even though men probably don't care about getting cards, I thought I would have a few options for women to give their men....  : )

I used the Cuttlebug machine to make the wood-like effect on the three background parts. Then used some paper ribbon and a frame to embellish the cards. All the paper comes from the Creative Memories Discover and Rugged power pallets.

New Crafts!

Such a busy bee I've been this weekend!! : ) The Husband has been gone this weekend so I've had a lot of time to get things done! Here are the cards I made:

These cards have "May you find peace in the days ahead" stamped on the inside.

These cards have "Wishing you comfort on difficult days" stamped on the inside.

All of these cards are made with scrapbook and crafting paper. I cut out the flowers using the April Showers Cricut cartridge.

These are made a little bit differently. They open where the flower pictures are attached to the quilted looking paper.

These cards are made with Creative Memories paper. I used the Cuttlebug to make the quilted look for the top layer.

Cards from the Weekend

I had a little bit of time this weekend to make a few cards. We are having a craft night at my church again and I'm in charge of the cards section. I think I'm going to use these as sort of a template for others to follow. Enjoy!

I used Creative Memories paper, letters, and the Cheerful Seasons Cricut Cartridge for both of these cards.

Wow, it's been so long since I've been here... Sorry! So how have you been?

I've found a little time to do some crafting lately. Here are a few cards I've made. I apologize for the photos not being very good... I'll do better next time...

Another fun thing that has happened is that I've recently graduated from Penn Foster Career School with a CDA (child development associate) training certificate. This means that I can now open a licensed daycare center. It also means that I've completed all the education hours needed to acquire my CDA certificate. How exciting!

Now on to the next step - finding a place to open my daycare! Wish me luck!
And a few prayers would be appreciated as well! : )
