I love the Cricut cartridge Create a Critter! The animals are so cute! I made some of the animals and put them inside a white photo frame. I think these would go great in a baby's room!
I'm not real happy about the frames. They were originally black. I spray painted them white, and they just didn't come out as good as I was hoping. You may not can tell in the pictures, but up close you can tell they were spray painted. I think I'm going to keep looking for some frames that are already white.
What do you think? Would you put these up in your baby's room?
Enjoy!

Masculine Birthday Cards
Some friends from Bible study came over this past Saturday for a craft night. Here are the cards I made:
I was trying to make cards a little more on the masculine side. Even though men probably don't care about getting cards, I thought I would have a few options for women to give their men.... : )
I used the Cuttlebug machine to make the wood-like effect on the three background parts. Then used some paper ribbon and a frame to embellish the cards. All the paper comes from the Creative Memories Discover and Rugged power pallets.

Where I've Been...
I know. I know. I've been gone a while.... But I have been busy! : ) Here's a few things I've been doing.
I've been making wooden crosses to show in arts and craft shows.
I've also made a few cards to show at these shows.
I also had the privilege of taking pictures at a birthday party for a little girl who was turning 1 year old. It was a lot of fun. She was such a happy little girl! : )
If you would like to buy any of the wooden crosses or cards, please check out my website!
Enjoy! : )

Cross Project
This is my latest project. I made this as a birthday gift for someone. This is one of my favorite projects that I've made so far! What do you think?
Enjoy!
I bought two wooden crosses from Hobby Lobby. I spray painted the larger one and the sides of the smaller one. Then I modpodged scrapbook paper onto the smaller one and roughed up the edges a little bit. I used Liquid Nails to glue the smaller cross onto the larger one. Then I modpodged the little crystals onto the wood and the paper. Pretty easy! And it looks beautiful!
Enjoy!

So, I'm beginning to get into this card making thing... I've always loved creating scrapbooks, and now I've decided to try out making cards. I have to say, it has been fun. Here are a few of my first creations.
